The
Plymouth Supply Harware Store (seen here in 1978) at 38 Court Street
was one of the town's seveal traditional hardware stores when the town
center was still a commercial location for Plymoutheans. Since that time
many older stores such as other hardware stores, markets
from First National, A&P and Gloria's to Rebuttini's and Florida Fruit,
Puritan
Clothing, Pilgrim Drug and Cooper's Drugs
(2 locations), Danforth's Bakery and Arons' Furniture have passed, leaving
the field to the "big box" stores outside of town. This is now the northerly
end of the South Shore Savings Bank.
