Howard Barnes' photo of the public bath house at Plymouth Beach, January 1952, It was located near where the current cement guard house is today , althouth it extended further south towards Bert's. The parking area and seawall didn't extend nearly as far up the beach as they do today, and the start of beach breakwater (near the horizon at the right, in line with a then tree-less Manter's Point) shows how far it would eventually go.
