This view of the Hotel Pilgrim from the ocean or east side shows the building that was originally called "Clifford House" in 1857 after it was renamed Hotel Pilgrim by the Brockton and Plymouth Street Railway Company in 1891. It was modernized in the colonial revival style in 1903, and was closed and torn down in 1957.
