The
A & P was built on the site of the NYNH&H Railroad Station in
the early 1960s after the former building was demolished, but the supermarket
only existed a few years ( it isn't listed in the 1970 telephone directory)
. The building was torn down shortly after this picture was taken in
1977 and the new Plymouth Five Cent Savings Bank building (now the Citizen's
Bank and offices) built.
